The World Juniors 2011

The World Junior Rowing Championships 2011 took place at Dorney Lake, Eton, from 4th to 7th August 2011 and doubled up as a ‘dry run’ for the 2012 Olympic Games rowing. The weather was variable – torrential rain on the Thursday – but the atmosphere was terrific and certainly the organisation was first class. There were some outstanding performances from the British crews and overall stars were the Girls’ Four and the Boys’ Eight, who both took the silvers.
My photos are organised into 15 categories, eight for the British crews, four for various visiting crews, plus Views around the course and the ‘vollys’ – those superb people who made it all happen.
Click on the category (above) to go to the thumbnails and then click on any thumbnail to see a larger version, and this also takes you to ‘add to cart’. For this event I have produced a DVD, which can be ordered from any of the photos.  The DVD contains photos of all the British crews and the Views and People categories. As a bonus there will also be a folder of either Ireland, Norway, NZ or Various, depending on the order destination.

Note that everything appears in one window, so either hit the Home button on the Index page or use your brower's back button to navigate.
